12/10/17 ROCK STARS MURDERED Joining Richard Syrett in the first half of Coast to Coast, author and researcher John Potash detailed how a group of opium-trafficking families came to form an American oligarchy and eventually achieved global dominance as they directed the CIA in operations such as MK-Ultra to push LSD and other drugs on leftist leaders and left-leaning populations at home and abroad. Potash began with an examination of the John Lennon assassination, saying that the accused killer, Mark David Chapman, had been trained by CIA handlers to learn how to shoot a gun accurately, and had been a patient at a mental health facility known to have direct Agency connections. He also claimed that the doorman at the building where Lennon was killed was a CIA operative who had been involved with the Watergate break-in as well as the Bay Of Pigs invasion. Potash and Richard drew parallels between the Lennon and RFK assassinations, such as the evidence of possible mind control and second shooters.

Potash said that the CIA sent a raft of agents and “a ton of LSD” to the UK in 1965 in order to popularize the drug amongst the pop culture and especially the artists and musicians at the time. He believes that the drug did not open up perceptions, but instead “generally made people less competent” and less likely able to promote left wing causes effectively. He also said that there is strong evidence that Jimi Hendrix was murdered when he fired his manager who was a British secret agent and that Rolling Stones founding member Brian Jones was drowned in his swimming pool when intel agents learned he was openly turning away from psychedelic drugs.

It may surprise some people to learn that theories suggesting an Elvis death hoax actually began circulating almost as soon as he had passed away. A little known book titled “Elvis: Dead or Alive?” was published a mere month after the singer had died in 1977. Chester Bennington, the lead singer of the rock band Linkin Park, was found dead Thursday according to a spokesman for the LA County Coroner. He was 41. The coroner’s office was called out to a home in Palos Verdes Estates shortly after 9 a.m. Authorities said they were treating the case as a possible suicide. Bennington’s band found success in 2000 with their album “Hybrid Theory” with Bennington’s heartfelt vocals leading the way. Bennington has six children from two relationships.

07/15/17 On Coast To Coast In The Second Half: On the High Plains of Texas, Johnny Frank Garrett, a 17-year-old mentally-challenged boy, was arrested, convicted, and ultimately executed for the 1981 Halloween night rape, mutilation, and murder of a nun while she slept in her room at the Convent. Garrett claimed his innocence from the time of his arrest until his dying breath. Sixteen years after Garrett’s execution new evidence has emerged proving they executed the wrong man. During the latter half of the program, filmmaker Jesse Quackenbush spoke about Garrett’s story as chronicled in his new documentary.

Garrett had the IQ of an 8-year-old, grew up in poverty, and was physically and sexually abused by various men that came into his mother’s life, Quackenbush explained. He lived a block away from the crime scene, and the system was gamed against him from the beginning, he added. “It’s almost as though it was all being set up to arrest this kid,” Quackenbush said, noting Garrett also had an incompetent court-appointed attorney.

Hair samples found at the scene belonged to someone of African American heritage, not Garrett, and the most important evidence, the semen sample, was mysteriously lost. Quackenbush is convinced this missing evidence could have exonerated Garrett. He suggested the murder of Sister Tadea Benz was committed by violent Cuban refugees (part of the Mariel boatlift), as was a similar murder months earlier. “[Narnie Box Bryson] was raped, mutilated, and left in a crucifix position in exactly the way [Benz] was found,” he reported. Quackenbush also spoke about a curse Garrett placed on those involved in his wrongful conviction and execution.

He held on to that phone for hours, all the while chain smoking cigarettes like he was a freight train from Hades. Later on our station manager, one of the best radio men Gandalf has ever had the pleasure to work for, John Frankhouser, was more than a little upset the day he got the phone bill.

It just also so happened at that time the Shaw of Iran’s son was living here in Lubbock and going to flight school at Reese Air Force Base. 6 things you didn’t know about the Iran hostage crisis It was not long after that memorable series of coincidences and events that Chris Alexander the news director at KAMC 28 and KLBK 13 and Gandalf uncovered a CIA Iran-Contra operating here in Lubbock, Texas. That by a strange chain of events, the secret agent was busted in Lubbock, Texas having sold a kilo to a couple of clueless narcs. These DEA agents moved the “buy” to Lubbock because they knew that this city’s juries indeed were gullible, that they leaned in favor of the prosecution, believing everything law enforcement says on the stand under oath, and that Lubbock juries had the tendency to give long jail time; all of which is at the tax payers expense. The joke is on we the people throughout this entire affair. This time however, their strategic assumption and positioning in this operational alignment bit them on the rear. As fate would have it, the worm had turned. Just as Chris Alexander and Gandalf teamed up to seek the truth and justice, serving in the public interest. The Contra had been placed by DEA in the county jail and that is where Chris and Gandalf discovered him. That agent was later released by the Lubbock sheriff Sonny Keesee and was never to be seen again. On his release the TV stations filed a FOIA request.

The CIA, it was learned by Gandalf, had been trading drugs for guns and cash. The funds and guns were used in Central America, killing many, in the guerrilla wars of El Salvador and Nicaragua. Other funds were perhaps applied to this covert operation from the restricted weapons that were sold to Iran, using Israel as the intermediary in part of a ransom deal for 7 American hostages…arms embargo This all went down in Ronald Reagan’s second term. COAST TO COAST 10/19/15 On Sunday night’s program, George Knapp was joined by Academy Award nominated director James Spione, who discussed his film Silenced , which deals with Washington’s increasingly draconian response to whistleblowers, and the devastating personal toll on those who’ve questioned official national security policy. Two of the three whistleblowers highlighted in the film, John Kiriakou and Thomas Drake, later joined the program to share their experiences and reflect on how their lives were affected once they found themselves in the cross-hairs of a vindictive federal government. Spione observed that the climate of fear and security that has enveloped the United States since 9/11 has given way to a situation where whistleblowers are “not just persecuted, they’re prosecuted to an unprecedented degree.” Compounding this troubling issue, he said, is that the whistleblowers who seem to draw the most vociferous response of the government do so because they reveal information which challenges official policy or exposes criminality. He also noted that prosecution of whistleblowers under the Espionage Act has increased significantly under the Obama administration, which has invoked the law “more times that all other administrations combined in the last 100 years.” Ironically, Spione mused, this tenacious approach has led to new whistleblowers taking extreme measures to release information, such as in the case of Edward Snowden, who fled the country in order to be heard. Teen Claims He Hacked CIA Director’s Email During the next 90 minutes, former CIA counterterrorism officer John Kiriakou detailed his harrowing experience being prosecuted as a whistleblower. He explained that the ordeal began after he appeared on ABC News and revealed that the CIA not only had a torture program but that it was sanctioned by the president. This, he said, led to intense scrutiny by the government that culminated with him being charged with multiple felonies which would have sent him to prison for decades. Despite a deep desire to fight these charges in court, Kiriakou lamented that the government strategy in these instances is to overwhelm defendants with a massive amount of charges in the hopes of obtaining a plea deal. As such, he ultimately opted to accept such a deal for lesser charges in order to spare his family from the crippling debt which would arise from a lengthy court battle.

In the final 90 minutes of the program, former NSA official Thomas Drake reflected on his battle with the government after he spoke out about the agency’s illegal spying program. Drake lambasted critics who say that whistleblowers should simply use official channels to report wrongdoing, stressing that he attempted this tactic numerous times only to receive no response. Eventually, after speaking with the media about his concerns, he was charged with ten felonies under the Espionage Act, saw himself portrayed as a traitor by the press, and left with no means of employment. He speculated, since his case occurred in 2010 and predated high profile whistleblowers like Kiriakou, Edward Snowden and Chelsea Manning, that the immense government response to his actions was aimed at making an example of him and creating a chilling effect to dissuade others from speaking out about institutionalized wrongdoing that they had witnessed. These quakes, as well as devastating volcanoes, are associated with the low point of the cooling cycle which occurs during the years 2017 -2038, he cited. Instead of the focus on global warming, he believes the US government should be doing more to get people prepared for major catastrophic quakes.

She outlined the band’s roots in Australia, their rise to fame in the 1970s, their enormous staying power over the decades, and the darker side of their history. Brothers Angus and Malcolm Young have been in the group since the beginning, and their older brother George, who was a member of the popular 1960s band, the Easybeats, produced their first six albums.
AC/DC was rocked with tragedy when lead singer Bon Scott died in 1980 from alcohol poisoning, just after their huge success with their hit album Highway to Hell . But the band was able to eventually deal with the loss, and replaced Scott with a new singer, Brian Johnson, Masino recalled. She also detailed how when their song “Nightprowler” came out, serial killer Richard Ramirez, known as the “Night Stalker,” claimed this song spoke to him directly, though the band was never into Satanic worship. She talked about how Angus Young experimented with different looks and costumes before settling on his “school boy” uniform which he still wears for performances (the band is currently on tour in Europe), as well as how Malcolm Young retired from the group in 2014, as he suffers from dementia.

In the first half of Tuesday’s show on Coast to Coast, constitutional attorney and president of The Rutherford Institute, John Whitehead , talked about the rise of the police state in the United States. America has become plagued by bureaucracy, secrecy, perpetual wars, militarization, and surveillance, he declared. Essentially, we’ve become a nation of suspects, and the citizenry has very little recourse against any kind of action by the police, he said. By “police” he includes various kinds of law enforcement such as Homeland Security and FBI agents, who have SWAT teams, and use hollow point bullets (which explode on contact). The current US government is not what the Founding Fathers had in mind– it’s a business or corporate concern, Whitehead continued, and the expansion of the Dept. of Homeland Security combined with the NSA could really be considered the new 4th branch of the government. This new branch of government is sending out a signal that they can come after their adversaries– “if you step out of line, we’re going to know everything you do, we can arrest you in the middle of the night,” and you have no privacy, he outlined. The Patriot Act, which eviscerated the Constitution, has authorized military equipment like grenade launchers, tanks, and assault rifles to be given to local police departments, essentially creating a “standing army” which George Washington warned against, he stated. whose clever, anarchic comedy on programs such as “Your Show of Shows” and “Caesar’s Hour” helped define the 1950s “Golden Age of Television,” has died, according to actor Rudy De Luca, a friend of the family. On Coast to Coast July 5, 2013 Coast Insider Audio Disinformation: On Thursday’s show, managing editor of World Net Daily, David Kupelian, and historian and law professor, Ronald Rychlak , discussed some of the most consequential yet largely unknown disinformation campaigns of our times, many begun during the Cold War by the Soviet bloc. Rychlak co-wrote his new book Disinformation with a former high-ranking Soviet bloc intelligence officer, Gen. Pacepa, who is still living undercover decades after he defected to the US. Before his defection, Pacepa’s used disinformation to persuade the West that communist Romania’s President Nicolae Ceausescu was a great and benevolent leader. Disinformation can be employed in various ways– in the case of Ceausescu to build him up, but it was also frequently used to discredit people.

Kupelian compared the disinformation process to that of money laundering. First, you have misinformation– often intentionally wrong information that is put out by a government, and then introduced to a respected news organization. The public receives the information, camouflaged from its original source, in the form of “clean” and credible news, “and that is what we call disinformation– it’s not just the lie, it’s the fact that it’s been implanted in this clever way,” he explained.

Soviet leaders often used a similar tactic when they came into power, spreading disinformation about the previous leader, such as how Khrushchev discredited Stalin, Rychlak detailed. Andropov, a former head of the KGB, who became the leader of the Soviet Union, took the tactic further, launching disinformation about foreign leaders, Rychlak continued. One fascinating case of disinformation was how the KGB built up the perception of Arafat as a peaceful leader, as part of their agenda to damage Israel, Kupelian remarked.

Two Towers 9/11 & C2C The Review: In the first half, veteran airline captain Philip Marshall revealed the connections between the 9/11 hijackers and the Saudi Arabian intelligence community. Lead investigator of the Congressional Joint Inquiry, Senator Bob Graham, uncovered such a relationship and has filed a lawsuit against Saudi Arabia for their role in the attack, Marshall said. The hijackers were in contact with Saudi Arabian aviation experts, he continued, adding that “none of the official evidence mentions any kind of role by bin Laden and al-Qaeda.” Marshall dismissed theories that the Pentagon was struck by a missile, though he acknowledged that the incredible speed at which the plane was traveling (480 knots) would have made it sound and even appear like a missile attack. Photographic evidence shows Boeing engine turbines inside the Pentagon, as well as wing fairings and other metallic wreckage with American Airline’s paint job, he noted. There is no doubt that American Flight 77 hit the Pentagon, Marshall stated.He spoke about the extraordinary skill required to pilot a Boeing 757 at high speeds at low altitude, and to navigate the aircraft to a single building from 270 miles away (distance when hijackers took over the plane). Marshall said he attempted the Washington DC attack himself in a simulator and, despite his 20 years of experience flying Boeing airliners and 15,000 hours of flight time, it took him four tries to hit the Pentagon. “To suggest that this was the first time that guy had ever flown a 757 is absolutely impossible,” he stressed. According to Marshall, the 9/11 hijackers were tailed by the FBI from the moment they landed in Los Angeles on January 12, 2000. They learned to fly on small aircraft and simulators then, after George W. Bush became president, started disappearing into the Arizona desert for days at a time, he disclosed. Marshall believes the hijackers were trained at a CIA-operated airport, Pinal Air Park, by a Saudi group from an aviation charter that operated Boeing aircraft. He connected the people in charge of Pinal to Wall Street and ultimately to Dick Cheney, and suggested that President Bush knew enough not to scramble fighters to intercept the hijackers.
